📬What’s the Difference Between GL, WLW, Lesbian, and Sapphic?
These terms—GL, WLW, lesbian, and sapphic—are often used when talking about queer women’s media, but they each have slightly different meanings.
Term | Meaning | Usage Context |

GL (Girls' Love) | Romantic/emotional relationships between women, especially in fictional works. | Asian media (manga, dramas), Japan, Korea, Thailand |
